Privacy Policy
Boat Docking: Captain Vasko · Effective 15 October 2026
The short version: the Game needs no account, shows no ads, and keeps your progress on your own device. We receive data only when you send feedback, leave your e-mail for news about Greece, or make a purchase, and usage statistics and crash reports only if you allow the Ship's log.
1. Who is responsible
Mealhouse s.r.o., Klimentská 2061/21, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, is the controller of personal data processed through Boat Docking: Captain Vasko (the "Game"). Contact: v.kupreev@gmail.com.
2. Data the Game handles
| Data | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Progress, coins, daily streak, best results, settings (sound, vibration), which tips you have seen | Stays on your device only | To run the Game and remember your progress |
| Feedback you choose to send: two ratings, an optional comment, and run details (level, stars, time, bumps, wind, device type: iOS or Android) | Sent to a Google Forms sheet we own | To improve levels and difficulty |
| Purchases: which item or subscription, date, status, and a transaction identifier | Processed by Apple or Google; we receive a purchase record without your name or card details | To deliver what you bought and keep our accounts |
| Usage statistics, only if you allow the Ship's log: levels started, finished and given up, stars, time, bumps, wind, coins paid and earned, repairs, support and purchase screens opened, purchases made, your answers to the in-game questions (such as your sailing experience), device model, operating system, app version, country, and a random app identifier | Sent to Google (Firebase Analytics) | To see where players get stuck and to fix problems |
| Crash reports, only if you allow the Ship's log: what the Game was doing when it stopped or hit an error, device model, operating system, app version, free memory and storage, and a random installation identifier | Sent to Google (Firebase Crashlytics) | To find and fix crashes and errors |
| Your e-mail address, only if you leave it on the Greece "coming soon" card | Kept on your device and sent to a Google Forms sheet we own | Only to tell you when the Greek harbours are ready |
| Emails you send us | Our mailbox | To answer you |
The Game does not collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, and it has no advertising. It collects your e-mail address only if you choose to leave it for news about Greece, and uses it for nothing else.
Feedback is sent without your name or email. Please do not write personal details in the comment box. Google may technically process your IP address when the form is submitted.
3. Legal bases (EU and UK players)
- Contract: running the Game and delivering purchases.
- Legitimate interest: reading feedback you send, keeping the Game working and secure, defending legal claims.
- Consent: usage statistics and crash reports (the Ship's log). The Game asks when you first open it and sends nothing until you agree. You can change your answer at any time in Settings > Ship's log.
- Consent: your e-mail for news about Greece. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Legal obligation: keeping purchase and tax records.
4. Who receives data
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Data goes only to these service providers, each for the purpose shown:
| Recipient | What | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) | Purchases, subscriptions, app download and crash reports you agreed to share with developers | apple.com/legal/privacy, policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google (Google Forms) | Feedback you send, and your e-mail if you leave it for news about Greece | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) | Usage statistics and crash reports, if you allow the Ship's log | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Discord, Telegram | Nothing from the Game. If you tap a community link, you leave the Game and their own policies apply | discord.com/privacy, telegram.org/privacy |
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Apple and Google (including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where they do, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long data is kept
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Progress, coins and settings on your device | Until you delete the Game or clear its data |
| Feedback | Up to 24 months, then deleted or kept only as totals |
| Purchase records | As long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 10 years |
| Usage statistics | Up to 14 months |
| Crash reports | Up to 90 days |
| Your e-mail for news about Greece | Until we have told you that Greece is ready, then deleted within 3 months; sooner if you ask |
| Emails | Up to 24 months after the last message |
7. Deleting your data
- On your device: delete the Game, or clear its data in your phone's settings. This removes progress, coins and settings. There is no account to delete.
- Feedback you sent: it carries no name, so we usually cannot tell which entry is yours. Email us the approximate date and what you wrote, and we will delete it if we can find it.
- Usage statistics and crash reports: switch off Settings > Ship's log, and nothing more is sent. To delete what was already sent, email us and we will ask Google to delete the data linked to your app identifier.
- Your e-mail for news about Greece: email us and we will delete it.
- Purchases: managed in your Apple or Google account.
8. Your rights
If you live in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- have wrong data corrected and data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before;
- receive data you gave us in a portable form;
- complain to a data protection authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
To use these rights, write to v.kupreev@gmail.com. We answer within one month.
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have similar rights to know, delete and correct. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
9. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The Game sends data over encrypted connections. Purchase payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we receive to a minimum.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any update at https://github.com/vkupreev/sailersgame-X and change the effective date. If a change is significant, for example a new kind of data, we will tell you in the Game before it applies.
